National Honor Society

Founded in 1926, our chapter is one of the oldest in the nation. Though times have changed, our mission remains the same: to promote the qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, and character amongst our members as well as the entire school and community.
SPONSOR:  Mrs. Nance
OFFICERS 2017-2018:
Co-Presidents:  Carter Hall & Katie Lux
Secretary:  Heather Hoffmeyer

Not only does our National Honor Society support our school and community service, students also raise money to support Hospice.

  • Matchomatic
  • Bake Sales
  • Mr. Shelbyville
  • Teacher Appreciation luncheon
  • Teacher Christmas gift wrapping and supporting SHS functions for community service (awards night, 8th grade parent night, registration, open house escorts, and more as asked)
